Patterson’s Butchers have been part of the Baltinglass Community since the 1940’s. It is the support of the local people that has kept our shop thriving all these years. We have always tried to do our best to support those that support a local family business like ours. We wanted to share with you a few of the initiatives we have been involved in recently.
League at the local golf club
Patterson’s Butchers were delighted to sponsor the recent Easter League at Baltinglass Golf Club. Golf is ingrained in the Patterson family, our uncle Denis was captain in 1957 and was part of the Provincial Towns winning team in 1985. This year Denis' great nephew Neil aged 13 (Derek’s son) is on the clubs Provincial Towns team.

Hot Dog Day at the local school
May marked the sixth year that Patterson’s Butchers sponsored the sausages for the Hot Dog Day. They managed to eat 400 sausages!! This year we catered for all – gluten free, vegan and halal included. Other local businesses sponsored bottles of water, popcorn and breadrolls. A great day for all concerned in our community.
Local Community Garden
We were really looking forward to the official opening of Tearmann Community Garden last month and it didn’t disappoint. The extended Patterson family were delighted to sponsor a bench as a token of our appreciation to all involved. This dementia friendly sensory garden is amazing and a real addition to our local community.

At Patterson’s Butchers we believe in supporting our local community when we can. We appreciate each and every one of our customers and are delighted to be able to show our appreciation in supporting local groups and events. Thank you to all our customers, friends and supporters for your continued loyalty to us.
